After a long and tiring week, we must never forget to give thanks to the One Who carried us through. Indeed, great is His faithfulness. So we must praise Him all the more this Friday for He is Who He says He is. He deserves to be glorified! Pray these simple prayers to express your gratitude:

Almighty God, thank You for waking me up this Friday. Thank You for carrying me through and for the privilege of serving You with my life. Truly, it’s an honor to live for You. I also thank You not only because You have carried me through the week, but also because my week was purposeful and productive.
Again, I thank You for this day. The glory is Yours, Lord. Amen.

Prayer of thanksgiving for His presence
Thank You for being with me this Friday, Lord Jesus. I cannot thank You enough for Your presence in my life. I don’t think I can ever get through the day and the whole week without You. It brings me so much comfort and peace knowing that You are with me and for me. You will never leave me nor forsake me.
So, I thank You for always being with me every second of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Thank You for blessing me with Your supernatural strength, Lord God. You make the impossible, possible. You strengthen and empower me to be a better person and a follower. Lord of Lords, thank You for protecting me this Friday! Thank You for keeping me away from trouble, worry, and harm. You guard me against the evil one, and for that, I am grateful. You are truly my Mighty Protector.

Not everyone has the privilege of studying or having a job. But thank You, Lord, because I have a career that keeps me productive for the rest of the week. Thank You that I made it this Friday after a long, yet fulfilling week. Thank You for blessing me with my work, Jesus.
Please allow me to glorify You more with my skills, abilities, and talents for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of rest
Thank You for the gift of rest, Heavenly Father! Thank You because, after a tiring week, I can rest and be in the comfort of my home. I can spend more time with my family and of course, with You. Thank You because You give me something to look forward to every week. But this Friday, I want to thank You because You want me to experience this kind of rest.
Father, I lift up to You the rest of my day and I am looking forward to a great weekend. In Jesus’ name, amen.
