Merciful God, I don’t comprehend how You discipline and guide my life. It’s probably more appropriate to say that I don’t quite understand it and therefore don’t want to acknowledge Your ways. Please excuse my willful ignorance. I do know that You care and that you serve us in ways only You have the power to accomplish. Please know that I love You even though I am resisting You.
