Father, I pray for the enlightenment of my heart so that I may be able to carry out Your holy will. Protect my tongue from wickedness and my lips from lying; grant that my soul be as quiet and modest when it comes to those who offend me. Frustrate those who plot ill against me with their malicious thoughts and grant peace to us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
