Lord! I implore You, take under Your protection all those whom I love; bless them; and, if we are now to be separated, comfort them in the anguish that this separation will bring. In my final hour, free my spirit from unnecessary dread and apprehension. Grant that their virtues may honor my memory, and that after a productive and prosperous life on earth, they may be joined with me eternally in Your kingdom. Amen
