Dear God, in the beginning of the day, I bow before Your throne.Thank You for promising to guard and guide me. Please be my Shield throughout today’s trials, shielding me from both seen and unseen threats. Keep me secure in Your care as I venture out and return. May Your Spirit enlighten my mind, leading me in righteousness and aiding me in distinguishing right from wrong. Fill me with Your peace, calming the storms of anxiety in me, and grant me a serene heart and spirit to live this day. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
