Dear Lord, while I was thinking about sin, You were already thinking about forgiveness. I’m more disobedient than I’d like to acknowledge – and, your mercy is beyond my understanding. I’ve talked myself into sin far too many times. For all my faithfulness, I even convinced myself that I deserved at least one indulgence. Please embrace a rebel like me in the safe embrace of Your forgiveness. Amen
