Dear God, I know that beyond what our eyes can see, You have a greater purpose for everything that You allow to happen to us. Every sickness, every pain, every suffering has its way of unveiling Your sovereign plans.
You have said in Your word that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance leads to character where it produces hope in us. That hope will never disappoint us.
Lord, I pray for this church, Your body. I pray that during this trouble we will remain on purpose day by day. Even as we are in a quarantine period and have limited access to resources, I pray that we will never stop doing the work of the ministry.
Thank You for opening up new doors where we can utilize platforms to continue doing fellowships. I know that even as we discover these new platforms, You have widened our perspectives on how we can effectively use our time together even with social distancing. Thank You for showing us how we can overcome barriers.
Guard us, Lord, so that we may truly take advantage of the time that I have to grow my relationship with You and with my brothers and sisters in faith. I pray that You will continue to strengthen and mold my character to become like Christ.
I pray for our church leaders, our pastors, deacons, elders and missionaries. I know that this pandemic has brought them in more challenging situations. Continue to guide them with wisdom and knowledge especially on how they will lead the church during this time.
Strengthen their hearts and fill them with encouragement. Sustain them, Lord, moment by moment with Your grace. I pray that You will use them effectively to lead every member of the church to maturity in Christ.
I pray that all provision overflow to all Your children and that we may share these blessings to our neighbors as well. Thank You for securing us within the arms of Your protection. Protect us from the evil one. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
