Lord, You are the name above all names, and all the strength that I need is in Your mighty possession. It always amazes me that Lord who created the Universe would take time to listen to my pleas and care about the details of my story especially when I am at my weakest. God, there are things happening around me right now that can’t seem to understand. Most of them cause me to feel weak, afraid, and helpless. But even in the midst of all these encounter, I am certain that You are in control.
But right now, I must admit that it’s hard, Lord. There are days that I feel like I can’t go on anymore. The pain and fear are too much to deal with, and I know that my strength is not enough to break through this. Thank You, Father, for staying by my side and listening to my cries when I am in dire need. I know that I can come to you, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone. I will never ask for You to take this trial away. I would rather pray that Your will be done in my life. Whatever this implies, as long as it comes from You, I am willing to accept it.
Father, I am certain that this situation is within Your control. I know that by Your strength and the gift of the Holy Spirit, I will overcome and be able to handle this in a way that would bring glory to You, Jesus. You are the Holy God, and all my hopes rests in You alone. Thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
