Teach me to be thankful not just because of the holidays

Dear Heavenly Father, teach me to be thankful not just because of the holidays, but because of the salvation You have purchased for me through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus. Although there may be problems, failures and disappointments this year, I have also encountered victories here and there, proof that You have not left me. May I always abide in Your will, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
