Heavenly Father, I lift Your name on high today. You are the God who provides all the things that I need. You are the God who sustains me with every good thing so that I may live in abundance, fully satisfied in Your presence. I offer this prayer for work that You have given. I am thankful because through this job, I am able to earn enough money which I need for daily living.
I thank You because of the strength that I have day by day to do the tasks assigned to me. I am thankful for the mental ability to comprehend things and accomplish them. I am thankful for the emotional capacity to handle pressure and negative circumstances in the workplace. I am thankful that I am able to persevere and excel in the things that I do for the glory of Your name.
Jesus, I offer this job back to You. I desire that in whatever I do, I will work at it with all my heart as working for You and not for people. I desire to glorify You in whatever task I am inclined to do whether it is big or small.
I long to lead people to You by the way I conduct myself inside my workplace, that they may see Christ in me. I pray to minister to my co-workers and establish meaningful relationships with them. I pray for doors and opportunities to open for me to testify of Your goodness and Your faithfulness in my life.
God, protect me at all costs. I know the Devil would wage his way to distract my good intentions. I pray that all the plans he has against me and Your will would not prevail. I pray that whatever circumstance I may be in the workplace, I would be able to exercise self-control, compassion and love.
